Fulya Erdemci (d. 2022) Eskisehir
Fulya Erdemci was a curator and writer. She was among the first directors of the Istanbul Biennale (1994–2000), served as director of Proje 4L in Istanbul (2003–2004), and later worked as curator of temporary exhibitions at the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art (2004–2005). Erdemci co-curated a section of the Bienal de São Paulo in 2002 and contributed to the Moscow Biennale in 2007. In 2008, she co-organized the 5th SCAPE Christchurch Biennial of Art in Public Space in New Zealand together with Danae Mossman.
From 2008 to 2012, she was the director of SKOR – Stichting Kunst en Openbare Ruimte (Foundation for Art and Public Domain) in the Netherlands. In 2013, she curated the 13th Istanbul Biennial, and since 2015 she served as the Curatorial Director of Contemporary Art at Cappadox. Between 2020 and 2022, Erdemci was the curator at KØS Museum of Art in Public Spaces in Denmark.
